What Is A Musician Alliance?
The La Familia Musician Alliance is an Indie answer to record labels. The power of record labels is that they are one-stop-shops for music, where buyers, bookers, and promoters can trust to find a certain level of quality. Because many music acts are combined under one umbrella, they also have more marketing influence and incorporate better use of revenue dollar as basic cost is the foundation for several groups.
The La Familia Musician Alliance is our version of the one stop shop. If offers the benefits of a group - increased branding power, name recognition, and marketing and promotion streams - while reserving the artist’s independence and creative control. Also, Alliance Members will have access to La Familia Gallery as a performance venue where they are encouraged to debut new work, push the envelope, and grow as artists.
La Familia Musician's Alliance is seeking fresh, innovative Musicians across genres.
Solo Artists and Groups who demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, strong technical skills, and a strong understanding of who they are as artists are encouraged to apply. Musicians will be selected by the La Familia board and will be notified in the case that they are accepted for Membership.
We are specifically seeking Solo Artists and Groups who perform in genres that are appropriate to an Art Gallery setting, which includes, but is not limited to: acoustic rock, folk, world, classical, bluegrass, jazz, blues, alt-country, experimental, and electronic music. This is not a complete list of what we're looking for, so if your genre is not represented here, and you feel that it would be appropriate for an Art Gallery setting, please apply.
LaFamilia Musician's Alliance is a unique community of musicians in that it is a division of La Familia, the art of living LLC which is connected with La Familia Gallery, Scene In Seattle, H'Art Dating, and Power of Basics. Each of these programs provide excellent marketing and exposure for La Familia Musician's Alliance members.

- Members of La Familia Musician's Alliance are encouraged to exhibit personally and social challenging work. They are both given the freedom to present their work as they so desire and are expected to exhibit with a superior level of professionalism.
- La Familia Musician's Alliance is dedicated to discussing new ideas, collaborating and supporting individual members. Meetings and events are held throughout the year to foster new relationships and build community.
- La Familia Musician's Alliance is associated with La Familia Artist Cooperative, and Scene In Seattle Fine Art Tours who promote the members and the space to collectors, patrons, other galleries and tourists. This affiliation provides an increased level of promotion not associated with other Musician's Communities.
- La Familia Musician's Alliance is associated with Power of Basics which is an innovate consulting service designed to provide artists with the services and staff they need to develop their careers while also providing support to their fanbase. Members of La Familia Musician's Alliance may choose to work with Power of Basics for a reduced rate if they so choose.
- Members can choose to have CD's or Download Cards on-hand year round and displayed in the La Familia Gallery Salon. Members' atmosphere-friendly music will also be integrated into the La Familia Gallery playlist during working hours and events.
