| Artist Statement: A multi-disciplinary artist, Lee has exhibited her work in Chicago, Toronto and Ottawa. Examples of her work are in the permanent collections of the Fuller Museum in Brockton, Massachusetts and the Museo de la Ciudad, Guadalajara, Mexico. Lee's work interprets humanity through personal experiences. As an artist, she aims to make order out of chaos and extract meaning from life itself. She examines the stages of the human life cycle through themes of birth, love, memory, time, decay, and death. Lee interprets these ideas using personal, symbolic, and scientific references relating our cultural history. In 2007, Lee completed a second Bachelor's degree in education, and relocated to Seattle, Washington where she is currently working on a new series. |
